Namaskar Mandali,
Columbus Maharashtra Mandal cordially invites you and your family to join us for Diwali 2011 celebrations on Saturday November 5th, 2011. Like every year we have planned an evening packed with fun for you all. The program includes unique marathi sangeet natak (based on musical play written by Shri. Pu La Deshpande) and dandiya dhoom followed by it. Of course no celebration is complete without the feast. There will be sumptuous food awaiting you all.

Here is the schedule for the event:
5:15pm- Registration begins
6:00pm -Natak begins
7:30pm- Word from our sponsors-NewYork Life
7:35pm -Dinner served
Dandiya thereafter - Gym floor will be opened for all dandiya players. If you plan on hitting the dance floor, please try to bring your own set of dandiyas. We will certainly provide some at the venue but quantities might be limited.

Also, please note that we will require volunteers during the event. If you are willing to assist in any way please email us or come see one of the committee members before the program. Thanks much in advance for your co-operation.

Fee structure for the event:
The event is free for members and for kids under 5.
For Non-members (18 and above): $20 (includes food and entire entertainment program)
For parents of members, students with ID and kids of non-members from ages 5 until 17: $10
*Please check-in at the membership desk if you have paid for entire year.

Membership Dues:

"ePrasaran Internet Radio" (ePrasaran), http://www.ePrasaran.com, has announced an online "Marathi Ekankika Spardha" - NatyaDarpan. We have come up with another innovative concept of bringing Marathi community together. We all grew up and love another art, "Natya". While groups have been organizing and performing locally, there was no better/efficient way to bring them all together for everyone's benefit. We believe our online "Marathi Ekankika Spardha", NatyaDarpan, will help bring all Marathi "Natya" loving community together and enjoy/appreciate everyone's efforts.

Namaskar Mandali,

All of you must be looking forward to this Sunday's Katha-kathan program by Mr. Ratnakar Matkari. It's a free program for last year's members as well for new members who'll take memberships at this program. For non-members there is a nominal charge of $5. So make sure, you don't miss it! If you have not RSVPd yet, please do so by tomorrow.

The program is scheduled from 3pm to 6pm. We request all of you to be there sharp at 3:00, so that we could start the program by 3:10 and give Mr. Matkari as much time as possible on stage. So let us make the most of those 3 hrs.
